A native of the Arizona desert, Paul Gill concentrates on nature’s intimate slices of life and grand landscapes working primarily with a wood 4X5 Wista field camera and Pentax 6X7 medium format camera, along with Fujichrome Velvia and Kodak VS films for superior sharpness and intense, vivid colors.

The aesthetic compositions of light and color of Paul’s images comes from a life of working as a fine artist, trained as a painter at Arizona State University with a BFA and working as a Art Director for 17 years in the Graphic Design field he now dedicates all his efforts to creating a clear vision of a place and time in his travels throughout the back roads of north America.
